About Me

Originally from Rhode Island, I've done quite a bit of moving in my time. From living out west and battling dry heat, to moving down south and battling the rain, the opportunities that I have been given in past years have all led me to experience diverse cultural environments and explore destination spots I thought I'd never see. When I look back at where I have been and the struggles along with it, I can honestly say that today I'm proud

and grateful for what I have accomplished, and excited for whats to come next.

Drawing was always a big outlet for me growing up. A fresh set of sharpened pencils and

a tall stack of paper would make me happiest kid in the world. It was a hobby that helped

me cope with my life when troubles were hard. Even at a young age, everything around me

would just disappear and nothing else seemed to matter but the sound of the led hitting the paper. It was a feeling of contentment and peace that I never knew I needed at the time.

When I was about ten years old, my mother worked for a printing company that was based out of New England. They specialized in printing disposable tableware products for homes like paper plates, plastic cups, and so forth. Once a week, she would bring me home samples of her work and I was always blown away by the finished product. To me, at the time, they were just simple designs - I mean, it was the 90's. The layout, the vibrant colors, the letters

in different forms - It was cool, and just visually appealing.

Eventually I started collecting anything that had any kind of graphic art on it. Stickers, patches, cereal boxes, POGS (that’s an oldie), I'd even peel drinking labels off the bottle.

To me, it didn’t matter what it was. If it got my attention and spoke to me, I knew there

was something special about it, and that connection is what helped open up a whole new world of art to me. I saw life differently and in different perspectives and it was fascinating.

My approach to logo design is very minimalistic. I take pride in designing clean and simplistic logo work that will catch the attention of any target audience. A clear message without having to over complicate the general idea of the design is what I truly appreciate.
